Cheap towing in the Ironbound, Newark, NJ: boxed-in cars, dead batteries and the price that does not move

From the station to Wilson Avenue the curb is full at every hour. The late call is a battery, a set of keys in the ignition, or a car parked so tight it cannot leave even once it starts. Battery and keys are one flat price with no mileage.

The tight space is skates and a wheel-lift, the cheaper truck, walked out sideways. Name the cross street and which side of Ferry; the truck arrives by the side street, never down Ferry itself.

Broader streets, freight lots, and the ramps toward Turnpike Exit 15E and Raymond Boulevard. Tire damage from debris, box trucks that will not turn over before a morning route, and cars coming off the Turnpike that need the short hop from the exit to a garage. When the garage is in the Ironbound or over the bridge in Harrison, that hop is a handful of miles and a small number on the receipt.
