I broke down on the Parkway at Exit 145. Is that a more expensive tow?
On the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway the shoulder itself is served by the Turnpike Authority's authorized garages; book with us anyway, and once the authorized truck has the car off the highway we take it from the exit or the garage's lot to the shop or driveway you choose, at the same flat quoted price. Do you tow from University Hospital and the campus decks?
Yes. Campus and hospital security let the truck in once you have phoned; the driver checks in at the booth. Most of those calls are batteries, which is a jump at one flat price.
Vailsburg is the far side of Newark from your yard. Does that raise the price?
No. The booking fee is fixed and the miles are counted from the car to its destination, not from the yard to you. A truck already in the city is usually nearer than the yard anyway.
